Brazilian Culture Club (BCC)

As the president of the Brazilian Culture Club, I was in charge of overseeing all meetings (general body meetings and executive board meetings). I also oversaw all purchase and event requests, as well as maintained all officers and advisors up to date with all the events planned. I was responsible for making sure that every officer was properly trained and that all contact information for officers and members was up to date. Moreover, I supervised outreach activities to further expand the organization among Brazilians and those who were interested in learning more about the Portuguese language and the Brazilian culture.

Registered Student Organization (RSO) Council

As the Senior Vice-President of Registration for the Registered Student Organization (RSO) Council, I was responsible for reviewing all student organization registrations for both the Fall and Spring semesters. I was also responsible for providing student organizations with all the necessary information for them to register their organizations with no issues. This experience allowed me to encounter and help different student organizations all with different missions and visions to become an active organization on-campus and make a difference at FIU.

As the Registration Chair for the Council for Student Organization (CSO), I was responsible for reviewing all new student organization registrations for both the Fall and Spring semesters. I was also responsible for meeting and providing new student organizations with all the necessary information for them to register their new organizations under CSO. This experience allowed me to meet and help different new student organizations all with different missions and visions to become an active organization on-campus and make FIU their home.

​As one of the founding members for the Club for Undergraduate Economics Students (CUES), I was responsible for making sure we have all the documents needed to register under the Council for Student Organizations (CSO). I also reviewed all of our requirements document to make sure that we meet the requirements set by CSO. Moreover, I attended the monthly General Body Meetings hosted by CSO and updated the club’s officers with any new updates provided.
